I am the Director of Engineering at SpanishDict, where my development work tends towards search, natural language processing, and data mining / analytics. I work with everything from text parsing and analysis, search engines, third party data source integration to traditional and NoSQL data stores.

I received my masters degree from the Department of Computer Science at UCSD. At UCSD, I was part of the Systems and Networking Group, where my research mostly revolved around systems and security.

Before graduate school, I was a patent attorney at a large international law firm, where my practice focused on patent prosecution and litigation of software and hardware matters. I received my JD from the UCLA School of Law and undergraduate degree from Stanford.
